Marzan’s academic record tells a story of both steady productivity and real impact. He is first author on a manuscript accepted in Journal of Neuro-Oncology and co-author on a paper in Advanced Healthcare Materials. He has presented his work at local and national conferences, earning multiple awards for presentation excellence, several of which included monetary recognition, and international praise, like his recent conference at the ISSCR 2026 in Montreal, Canada. Demonstrating his growing research independence, he also secured a highly competitive $5,000 UGA-CAES/CVM Pilot Grant (2025–26), serving as the student lead PI.
