Madelyn G. Richter, (RBC Peroni Lab) worked to improve her understanding of veterinary medicine on a global scale. As expressed by Madelyn, “In Peru, I participated in a veterinary internship, where our team provided veterinary care to communities that otherwise lack access to veterinary services. This experience taught me the importance of adaptability and the need for culturally sensitive approaches to veterinary care.”
